Club News Round 6
Murrayville
Strong teamwork, great defensive pressure and accurate shooting provided A Grade with another thrilling win of 51-19.
B Grade had a tough game, but showing constant determination and improvement. With an ever changing team, it makes getting into the swing of things quite hard. Slowly, the players are starting to find their positions and the team is beginning to gel. Unfortunately, their run was just left too late on the weekend going down by 3, 35-38.
Over on the footy field, the boys showed a range of goal kickers putting on a show again. Brown’s Well had tough defence and the wind played a factor out there with a final margin of 54 points. It was a great pub night, supporting
one of our major sponsors! We look forward to travelling to Wunkar today, as Coach Keenan faces off against his Dad for the big dance. Following the game, if anyone wants to join, head to the Loxton Club to support another of our major sponsors for our away game.
BSR
Welcome to Swan Reach for our first Swanny home game of the year — it’s great to be back on our deck as we take on Sedan Cambrai today. There’s nothing quite like playing in front of our home crowd, and we’re looking forward to seeing plenty of Redbacks support around the clubrooms and on the sidelines.
Last weekend against Wunkar was a tough one, with losses across all grades. It’s clear we’re facing some challenges, and inconsistencies are making it difficult to build the momentum we’ve been chasing. It’s not where we want to be, and we’re not going to shy away from the fact that things are tough right now.
But in true BSR spirit, we’re sticking together and will make it out the other side. This club has never been just about the wins — it’s about showing up, week after week, with pride in the jumper and belief in each other. We’ve got the strength and heart to work through this rough patch, and I’ve no doubt we’ll find our way forward soon.
Let’s get behind all of our teams today and make this first Swan Reach home game one to remember — full of passion, spirit, and that trademark Redbacks fight.
Go You Redbacks!
Ramco
It’s ladies day here at the chook shed! Celebrating our lovely women that are part of the Ramco football netball club and community.
Our A grade netballers are looking to continue their form and have a good hit out with Paringa. Our B graders get to have another week off having no game.
It’s a big game for the footballers with Paringa as always bringing their brand of footy that will make for a good battle. Our boys have steadily been improving with new players starting to gel with the boys. Our attitude has been great and that has pleased Baz a great deal.
Big thanks again to our sponsors and all that are digging deep and helping out
